Bad, bad espresso. Bad steamed milk. Bad latte.

Fantastic service! I was staying at the Gaylord hotel for a conference. A group of us dropped into Harbor Cafe to get coffee for our team of 15. The owners were extremely helpful, accommodated our needs, then drove is to back to the hotel. We will spend a lot of time and money at Harbor Cafe this week. Thank you for delighting us! OH - the coffee was fantastic!

I really enjoyed the hospitality of the owners (Kim & Vijay). They were really family oriented and even assisted their employees in the day to day operations of the cafe. Nicole was so friendly she talked me into trying an avocado smoothie. I have to admit my first thought was "ewwwww". That was until I tried it. The mixture she used was very delightful and it had an almost honeydew melon flavor to it. It was very delicious and creamy. Not icy and extremely cold like most smoothies. I also tried a few other items on the menu. Hot chocolate with chili spice. Very rewarding with just a hint of heat. Thanks to DJ for the hot chocolate. I seen a black bean burger on the menu and was skeptic because I am a "meatatarian" but nonetheless decided to partake. I don't know what Kim did to make it taste so good but I would definitely order it again when in the area. Thank you to the Harbor Cafe owners and employees for such a joyful 1st experience at your establishment. Paul

The iced coffee is terrific. That's all I had, so that's all I can say about the coffee. The staff was indifferent, and the counter with sugar and straws could have used a clean-up. I took my coffee to go, so that wasn't an issue for me. They have horchata on the menu; if I hadn't been in desperate need of a cold beverage with caffeine in it, I would have given it a try. I guess that I'll have to go back.

Out for a morning walk and saw the chalkboard outside with smoothies listed on it. I hate when you follow the smoothie sign and it turns out to be sugar and just fruit flavored syrup but Harbor Cafe uses real fruit. I got mango banana. It was very sweet (my daughter even liked it) but tasted better than the drink mixes you usually get. And the menu has lots of choices for cold drinks. One of them uses rice and a spice blend--I'm intrigued. I noticed they have egg sandwiches on croissant and pastries. And we're going to try to come back for lunch--they have empanadas! I haven't had those since Venezuela, 16 years ago. Hours are 6 am to 6 pm most days and staff seems very friendly. Only improvements for me: add some spinach or kale to the smoothie. But I don't know how much of a market there is for high nutrition drinks here. Also wish they had waffles or pancakes, for my kids. Just an idea!

Are you looking for a "home' like atmosphere? If so Harbor Coffee is where you want to visit. The Owners, Kim & Vijay have made us feel like family from day one! She has an awesome staff of young people who always greet us with a warm welcome. The menu is expanding and we are enjoying all the new things that have been added. I wish this continued success at the National Harbor!

Sweet, family owned coffee shop. Stopped here before the Color Run began and grabbed a toasted marshmallow hot chocolate along with a turkey sausage/egg/cheese/crossiant biscuit. The sandwiches were pre-made but they are heated when ordered. Thought skeptical, it actually didn't taste bad. The cherry on top was the hot chocolate options. Though not listed, they offered dark chocolate, white chocolate, toasted marshmallow and some others I'm sure but before the cashier could continue I stopped her at marshmallows. It has the coffee shop basics, with a mini bar side (no liquor I believe) with bar seating and TV. Overall, I'm grateful for this place. Other big shot stores weren't open, but Harbor Coffee knew us runners needed fuel and somewhere to pee before the race.... Just keeping it real lol

Not the best egg sandwich. Egg was scrambled and cooked in a microwave. I like them over hard and fried.

We come to National Harbor once a year. My main goal coming to this cafe is always the Mayorga coffee but I also love the service here. This cafe is family run and has very nice employees. Was able to get an actual healthy breakfast smoothie with kale and pineapple. Will have to try one of their empanadas next time! Try this place for great coffee, friendly service and good food!

They were so friendly. I got a Cubano and a soy latte. Upon presentation they looked delicious. I will come back. They give military discount.
